We've picked the place apart and nothing. Nothing definite. There's so much here about this person, but no names, no photographs. Whatever Retrospec is telling people is enough to get them to decide that the right answer is to go live in a basement and not be able to contact anyone. You've got all the entertainment you could ever want, distractions. Games, books, music, DVDs, an action figure collection more expensive than my car. Even, I am not kidding, a dancing robot maid.

But nothing really personal. Not a photo of friends, not a medication bottle with your name on it.

What the hell does Retrospec know that we don't? What does it take for this to be your solution?

The robot mentioned a Dr. Mahoney, one of the names on the application. Odds are good that's who we're looking for, but, again, nothing personal to confirm it.

She asked us to help her deal with the "unrealities" that were scattered across Recolle, in the "forest sector"". To help find those missing, as well as any employees of theirs.

Obviously Im not taking anything said at face-value. That would be too overeager to believe anything they've told us. And yet you say you want proof, and who is to say that everything we've seen is not a... strong indicator of other worlds existing? Some of these creatures I've seen do not make logical sense. They /do/ seem like something out of a fantasy

So not yet. Okay. If it's true, then all right. We've got a lot to figure out for ourselves. But I need something more.

I understand your sentiments completely. And your hesitations to believe what's been put forth in front of us.

Either way, though we may lean towards one answer or the other (i'm honestly starting to think this past lives business might have some weight to it), it would be prudent for none of us to make a final decision just yet.

Answers are slowly coming undone at the edges. this situation is proof of that. We'll find our answers, Togusa. For now, it's best to focus on the matter at hand. My nephew is still missing, and it's difficult for me to think of anything except that.
