If it’s any consolation, this conversation seems to be about even keel with the state of Recolle as of late. What with the disappearance of horses; before you know it, we'll have diamond chocobos, too.

And not to take the wind out of your sails, because while the idea of owning a great diamond pony is difficult to forget, aren’t you a little disturbed that you’re suddenly remembering this now? Where did it come from?

Anyway, remember when we had our conversation about reoccurring dreams? How there's an inexplicable feeling of familiarity in something that should be foreign; that's what I felt when I saw her drawings. They were good, but they were like something plucked from a dream that I didn't know I had. If that makes any sense to you.

I asked her what had inspired her. She said that they were based off of her own dreams she had, when she was younger. If that was the case, why would I feel that way about what I saw? It's as if there was something shared there. And I don't mind that in a trite, romantic sense.

I hadn't thought anything of it, not until you told me about your diamond ponies -- remembering things you didn't know about. All this to say that there's something strange happening, Jack. I don't know how to feel about it.
