If that's the worst you do, then I have absolutely no issue with it. Staple as many as you like, my students will consider it a nice change from all the usual markings.

It's, ah. A matter of seeking to keep personal and professional relationships strictly separate.

With the...way things have been, with regard to matters concerning this app and...so on, it's just that. I...want to be able to support Dr. Lutece in capacities other than just as a professional colleague and a subordinate, and that's more easily facilitated when I'm not also her personal work assistant. That's what it is.

I see. Then I have to applaud you, because this is a very responsible decision for you to have made. There are times which we must judge in what capacity it is best to support those we care about. With all that's happened in the city, and with Retrospec, I cannot blame you for it at all.

Optimistically, both do involve laws. Though I suppose the laws of man are somewhat easier to set and break than are the laws of physics.

Don't you know that's what law truly is? A bevy of loopholes that one needs to either navigate around, or jump headlong into? Depending upon your preference, and what your motivations might be.
