But it's not something he's mentioned, except only to a select few. He idly bites at his lower lip, before typing out a response.]

[Quite uncomfortable. It was a taste of spite so acrid that he didn't know he could feel that way. A want to make others hurt, for whatever unfathomable reason.

He hadn't shared that much with Prompto, and he's not sure he's going to share that much with Noctis. Not yet. And to be fair, the memories of healing were not at all like that... but that only lent to the idea that something sparked a change, but he could not hope to know what.]

Maybe you had been very close friends. The parallel wouldn't be too different to how it is now, would it?

As for the rest, wouldn't it make sense? If you had been doing it for years, let's assume, then fear would not be as prevalent as it would normally be. Cast aside by practice, familiarity, and perhaps a want to help the people around you.

Did Prompto ever tell you the details of my memories with him in it?

[ With how new these memories are, Noctis truthfully doesn't know what to think. Or even what to gather from them, even if there's comfort in knowing the three of them are from the same universe. It's still odd, considering the life he came from when it comes to the here and now. ]

It's a simple memory. We were just outside of a caravan, and I was telling a story.

Prompto was the only face I could remember, but I knew there were others there. I wonder if you had been one of them?

I was staying the night with the group he was accompanying. We were traveling, I think, but I cannot for the life of me remember /why/.

I think so. Maybe in time, this will all become clearer to us. I can only hope that whatever narrative comes together is a good one.
