Then grab a group of your friends (Noctis included, of course) and go fishing. He's more likely to open up, or at least feel less awkward, if he's focused on an activity he enjoys as well. It's not something that will change overnight, but he can build more friendships from there with a little bit of your help.

You're kind and caring and obviously get along with him. I'm not going to tell you to do anything you're not comfortable with, but if whatever you're feeling is enough to bother you, you should be honest with him about it. Otherwise, you're only doing a disservice to yourself.

Prompto, you were there for him when he was still in a coma, and you're there for him now trying to make his adjustment to life as we know it easier. You're even so concerned that you've texted me about helping him socialize.

Romantic inclinations or not, that is the sign of a true friend. Don't sell yourself short; I'm sure you're quite important to him based off of this alone.

[Ardyn doesn't know Noctis well enough to assume whether or not the latter feels anything romantic in return, but he's almost certain that kind of friendship is nothing to be tossed aside so easily.]
