I was speaking to Iris earlier and she mentioned that you may be the sort of testing your students on the fine art of wonderful pick-up lines, and that is simply something I must sit in for.

On a more serious note, I will be graduating this year from high school and I would like to see what a university experience would be like.

Ah, I admit that I briefly entertained the thought, but soon thought better of it.

I see. Your inclination towards preparedness is admirable, nephew. As I said, you're more than welcome to visit any time you like; though I should warn you, a law class is not quite the same as any other course. I'm expected to call on my students frequently. I even have a seating chart with pictures of their faces posted onto it, for easy reference. Isn't that novel?

Of course. I would expect nothing less from a law professor. Fortunately for myself, I pride myself on being a good student and doing my readings and notes ahead of class to prepare for the occurrences of being called upon.

Though I'd be quite hurt if you need to use a seating chart and a photo to recognise me from the crowd.

Once seated in my classroom, all students are equal. I'm sorry to say that the familiarity afforded by family dissolves into nothing, and I'll need to refer to my seating chart to find someone named Souji Narukami on the list.

Don't feel too heartbroken when that happens, I implore you.

Unfortunately, nothing can stop my heart from breaking into two at the sound of those news. I may need Yu to take me down to the local health clinic this afternoon in order to see if they can repair my broken heart, but I understand.

Then I hope you do not mind if I regard to you as any other professor. I will have questions to the course material that I will expect answers to, both for my own knowledge but to also test how deep your own knowledge goes.
