That would not have been who I would have guessed. Prompto?

But, thinking about it, if he's remembered anything? And I mean anything at all like what we're seeing? He's been silent about it around me.

So maybe he has been seeing magic all this time. He was quick to pick up the idea of you healing people, after all.

No, I think he would have told me if he remembered seeing magic. He's been quick to contact me about many other strange things he's remembered in the meanwhile.

The memory itself wasn't earth-shattering, but it was a bit jarring to see him in them. A familiar face, one that I know to exist in /this/ reality. You can imagine the implications.

It's actively impossible for everyone to be remembering the same time and place. We've ruled that out pretty decisively.

But what if there are a couple of us who share that other life we're seeing?

Oh. I'm dumb. Of course there are. The Twins. They have similar abilities, too. My first thought was that you'd seen your brother. This had been happening, I just hadn't seen it.

You two are so close for a totally different reason, though. Interesting to think that the others of you two were also close.

Not close, exactly. But we did know each other in passing.

Obviously this does lend to the idea of a few people who share the same "life", so to speak. We've agreed to tell each other of our subsequent memories from now on. Maybe a few answers will unravel from all the questions as a result.

I'll keep out of it, then. But, good to know this is a possibility.

That does change things with Sauveterre, though. It still feels, I don't even know what the right word is? Disjointed? But maybe I am remembering him, or at least his dragon friend, for a reason. Might have to do the same, just to make sure.

Perhaps. But whether or not this is an anomaly or starts to become the norm will be the real indicator of what to think of this, I believe. If you think it feels disjointed, then I would trust your gut instinct.

In all of my memories, as strange as they can be, none of them ever felt like they didn't belong.

Actually. Hunh, you're absolutely right.

The Tachikoma, tanks, showed up again, a new memory. No question, they are a part of that other Togusa's life. Even though they're far beyond what should be possible technologically, it felt personal.

Wires crossed, it is, then.
