I believe eight or nine so far? I've started to lose count after the fifth one.

Actually, I've had more people complaining about the tips themselves than anything else.

Everyone seems content to pay $50/month.

Yes, I'm feeling quite okay. If I'm honest, I am a little worried about my upcoming year at Recolle University but that's about it.

[Ardyn is good at picking apart a lie, but it is more difficult over text. There's only so much he can garner from words alone, instead of expression, body language, timbre of voice.]

We haven't talked much about what's been affecting you as of late. Are you sure it isn't weighing you down, in ways you've simply not mentioned to me?

[ Now this is the hard part... where he doesn't want to lie to his uncle, the one person he considers as a close family member (which is impressive considering how terrible his relationship is with his parents) but on the other hand... he doesn't want to worry him either. He's so unused to having to share any of his thoughts that it's hard to do so, especially with family. ]

I truly appreciate the concern, Izunia-san, I really do but I am sure. I am all right.

Far be it from me to not trust your own assessment of how you're doing, but you do realize that I'm here for you if you wish to talk? Even if it's something you find insubstantial. If it worries you, it is not insubstantial to me.
