Then why not use the reverse as an excuse? You used to be self-conscious of your heterochromia, but in an attempt to instill more confidence in yourself, you've discarded the single colored contact and have decided to face the world head-on. Different colored eyes be damned.

This would require that people believe you to be self-conscious to begin with, however.

Maybe it is misplaced guilt, and it's like you said, it's an attempt to "get into heaven" before it's too late. Or it could be that she actually regrets her actions -- not that you should forgive her for it.

Give them to someone who does like oatmeal raisin. Such a soul certainly exists somewhere in Recolle.
