Then you should have been born later in the year; blame your parents for it. Apologies, but the "fun" has been delegated to the Scorpio. Death and destruction all around for myself, only a bland "deep understanding of everything natural" for you.

Anyway, at the bottom there's a summary. I can't decide if this sounds romantic or unhealthy.

Taurus and Scorpio are both signs of deepest physical pleasure, each in their own way. This has to be the focus of their relationship, for they can’t seem to understand platonic and imaginative relationships when they get together. There is no such thing as a platonic experience of romance, when the whole point of romance is to get physical. It is very possible that they will build their sexual life to the point where no other partner could ever satisfy their needs.

This could lead to a possessive relationship with no way out, although they probably wouldn’t want to get out even if they could. The entire experience can be too dark for the Taurus partner, especially if their practical sense is challenged by Scorpio’s character. In case they are both independent and ready to blend with someone else, they could be the perfect connection between sexual and emotional, the one that we all wish for.

to me it reads appropriately theatrical given the tone of the rest of the piece. the author speaks of a connection "we all wish for", but i think it's a little more personal than that. their ideal, and their own warnings to not let things get too unhealthy.

although, the idea of a connection fated by the stars has an innate romance about it.

[Astrology, especially where compatibility is concerned, is wrought from nothing but romantic notions, or at least that's what Ardyn believes. But there's fun to be had in them -- applying one's character to such broad strokes, and him and Prompto had a fleeting but entertaining discussion about the sensitivity of Scorpios.

That itself makes it worth it. He's having one such conversation with Grell now.]

the idea of one's stars working in harmony with another's to add blessing to an affection that started without the stars needing to be involved at all has a charm. if that makes me a hopeless romantic, by all means.

[actually, she's one for many more reasons, including getting excited when characters hold hands in movies and congratulating friends when they get new crushes, but that's not something she needs to mention. love is love, and it's something to get excited over.]
