[it is surprising because it goes against who prompto is. mostly because he's trying very hard to not just force himself unto others, especially not unto people whom he's very close to re-evaluating into familial terms.]

[Ardyn was never the type to let such things go unsaid in his own way, after all. And since he refuses to let Prompto argue the point any longer, he turns away to head to the kitchen area to put the cup and mug in the sink for now.]

[a smile etches itself on prompto's face despite his initial worries, once ardyn turns away. it's good to receive the kind of confirmation that he isn't being a pain in the ass, like he's been thinking he was.]

[so, he gets comfortable on the couch, rufus quick to accommodate himself halfway on top of prompto and on his side]
