What point is there in waiting, I wonder? After all that's happened to us. And not knowing what might happen to this city from week to week, month to month.

I already made that mistake, waited too long, and missed out on an opportunity to be very happy. So I'm very glad to see you jumping at the chance when you have it.

For some people, the uncertainty is leading to positive impulsivity instead of a detachment and uncaring. Although, could we tell the difference, you being impulsive? Or is this just tapping in to something that was already there.

I don't know. But in this case, it doesn't matter. I'd not change my mind, no matter what faces me in the future. Some things, once forged, are not so easily discarded.

Do you feel more impulsive now, Togusa? Or has caution hooked its claws more thoroughly into you now?

The first thing that pops into Togusa's mind is an image of himself, gun tucked into the small of his back, staring down the Retrospec building. An incident he's told no one about, and now the man who took Togusa out of that situation remembers nothing. A safe secret, thanks to Retrospec.]

Okay. Definitely more impulsive. I'm taking chances that I normally wouldn't have, and not all of them are good. But they're ending up helping people, so I can't complain.

Take right out here for an example. I'm doing anything I can to help out these people in Pesgare, even though it's not my job here, I don't have official jurisdiction, but who cares? It's the right thing to do.

Maybe it's for the best, in the end. To spark a bit of a fire beneath us -- as long as that doesn't turn into recklessness.
