  • he used to own a black chocobo
  • the city of Insomnia existing (the Citadel, as a result)
  • the car he used to drive
  • camping out with Noct & gang for the one night
  • introducing himself as “Ardyn Izunia” to Noct & gang
  • remembering that the astrals are a thing (Bahamut, Ramuh, Titan, Leviathan, Shiva, Ifrit)
  • remembering his Armiger/phasing abilities (linked to actually regaining these abilities maybe)
  • switching appearances with Prompto
  • the throne room scene in Kingsglaive

  • betrayed by his family and stripped of his title. (headcanon: they probably tried to execute him. it failed because…)

  • putting Noctis in a Crystal for ten years

  • turning the Emperor into a daemon

  • remembering the faces of his castmates??? example: remembering Prompto as Prompto, and not just some faceless individual

  • being filled with equal parts hate, spite, and sorrow. the injury wrought on his humanity thanks to his immortality
  • that his motivation for all of this was revenge against the astrals and his own family line
  • that his role as the Usurper was part of the Prophecy and therefore he decided to adhere to destiny, if it was so keen on making him a monster/villain
  • (and as a result, that he wanted to make Noct the True King just so he could die)
  • the final boss fight, and the fact that he died but still accomplished ending the Lucis Caelum line as a result
