i don't know what to call these

they're not memories. i know i've never hung out on an island with two other kids planning on building a raft, i never had time for that sort of thing

but i could tell you the conversation word-for-word like i was standing there yesterday

i could tell you all the details, like the tree i was leaning against or the sounds of the wind and the ocean

it's too real to not be a memory, but at the same time i know it's never actually happened
